You may wonder what’s different between deep cleaning and your normal weekly clean…
Firstly, an initial deep clean tends to be a significantly longer clean. For example, a client who is booking for 3 hours a week of cleaning might have an initial deep clean of 6 or 7 hours. Secondly, the aim of initial deep cleaning would be to get the property back to a maintainable standard.

Many of our registered cleaners are proficient at ironing as well as cleaning – in fact, it’s one of the questions we ask during an interview. If you want to include ironing alongside your usual home cleaning, always let your local manager know during your initial enquiry so they can assign a cleaner who is happy and capable of providing ironing services.
There is a real beauty of having your cleaner take care of ironing. Not only do you come home to a fabulously clean house, you also return to your garments pressed and put away in your wardrobe.
You can also enjoy the fact that your clothes are being ironed with your own iron and on your own ironing board. We’re advocates for using our client’s products and equipment as it avoids cross-contamination between properties, but also ensures your home is cleaned the way you like it. This is no different with our ironing service. Why would you want your clothes being ironed with the same appliance that’s been used in multiple other households?
Our housekeeping service is complementary to our regular weekly or fortnightly cleaning service. Alongside the general cleaning of your home, housekeeping services can help you to keep on top of your household chores.
For example, your cleaner can assist with your laundry. Each week, you can leave your washing for the cleaner to pop in the washing machine. Depending on how many hours your cleaner is there for, they could also take the washing out of the machine before they leave and hang it out to dry. Or, if time doesn’t allow, you could put the washing on before you leave the house and we will ensure to hang it out when we get to your home. Either way, you can return home to a full load of washing freshly hung on the line or the maiden and one less thing to do!
Another housekeeping chore we can undertake for you is changing the bed linen. There’s no better feeling than climbing into a bed made up with fresh sheets, and it’s even better if you haven’t had to change them yourself! If you leave out your fresh linen ready for your cleaner, they can strip the bed and remake it. We could also pop the used sheets in the washing machine ready for you to hang out to dry on your return home. Changing the beds in a family home can be a time-consuming task, so leave it to your Well Polished cleaner and give yourself that time back.
